Busy Weekend for TTW Juniors and Seniors
TTW members were in action at Northwich, Horwich, Lymm and a British Universities and Colleges event in Calne Wiltshire.
The Warrington Junior Aquathlon at Northwich was well attended on a bright but coldish spring morning. In the Tristart race Aiden Moore stormed to victory and is definitely one to watch for the future. In the T3 race Sophie Myers posted an excellent run time to take 3rd place and is returning to full fitness.
In the Youth race Jack Smith who has recently been attending our run sessions won comfortably having led throughout. Hannah Moore took second place in the female Youth race and really enjoyed it.
Fiona Myers was 4th out of 9 in the Ladies race.
At Horwich Pete Murray was in 40th place, Martin Holden, Mark Airey and Kate Mcloughlin and Paul Maye also competed.
Martin's blog of the day is here : http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/view.php?b=260
In the Sprint Tri at Lymm, Thomas Kneller got a fantastic 4th place and Fiona Hilton in her first ever tri posted a great time of 1:18:50. John Bellamy and Victoria Murtagh competed in the Standard distance race.
Sam Russell and Jenny Myers were at the BUCS event in Wiltshire, Jenny was the 50th female home out of 89 with her best stage being the bike - she said 'now I know what these thighs are for'!
Apologies if you competed and have not been mentioned - I have scanned the results the best I could!
