Well done to all our Triathletes at Liverpool and to our two fledgling referees Carl 'Triath' Lane and Fiona Myers - both had very busy long hot days!

In the Olympic distance race Norman Tyrer, Steve Westhead and Dave Birchall competed.

In the Youth Super Sprint Thomas Kneller came in 2nd place in MU17, Jack Smith in 5th place MU17 and Sophie Myers in 11th FU17 - there wasn't a FU15 category for her.

There were 32 entrants in this race as opposed to just 10 last year.  15 of this year's competitors are members of the North West Regional Academy.

Compliments must be paid to the organisers - despite the high cost of entry - this was a really well organised event and a fantastic venue.
