A grant has been awarded to Tri Team Wigan for the purchase of Junior cycling equipment through Sport England's Small Grants Programme.

The grant of £8400 will cover the purchase of 14 Isla bicycles of different sizes together with helmets, turbo trainers and accessories.

The bikes are in the Luath range and can be viewed here:

The bikes will be used for the Friday night Bike/Run sessions in the run up to the Wigan Schools Triathlon and beyond and will be kept at Leigh Harriers at Leigh Sports Village.

They will also be available to loan to club members for use in competitions.

Hopefully the kit will be available for use by the end of August.
